God is good, His love endures forever, He is faithful, He is our Provider, He comforts us, He helps us…the list goes on of all the reasons we should give thanks to God. We wanted to take some time this month to focus on thanksgiving. As a result, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite Bible verses about giving thanks to share with you all. Our prayer is that God would create a thankful heart in each of us. Remember that even when things don’t seem to be going your way, there is always a reason to be thankful and to praise God. He is worthy of it.
Why should we give thanks?
There are tons of reasons to be thankful! Most of all we are thankful because we are saved by grace through faith because of the sacrifice that Jesus paid by taking upon himself our sins and dying on the cross so that we could have eternal life with Him. Here are a few more verses of why to give thanks:

Giving thanks and proclaiming it to others
You can give thanks and glorify God by sharing His wonderful deeds with others. That is why we love to share your testimonies on Love Made Known. We can choose to be like the one Samaritan leper of the ten that were healed who came back to Jesus and gave him thanks and praise for the miracle he had performed. (Luke 17:11-19)

Thanksgiving as a part of our lifestyle
There are various passages in the Bible that show us that thanksgiving is an essential part of a Christian’s life. Having a thankful outlook affects the way that we go about our day.
